Like a classic weft, each row adds a lot of hair at once. However, there are no beads or thread. Instead, the tape holds each row close to your head, so it lies flat and feels light.
This method works well if you want serious fullness without a long install. Plus, it’s a nice fit for fine hair, since the weight spreads out across the whole row.
