Audrey is 11/10! I moved from Lexington a couple years ago and struggled, and I mean **struggled**, to find someone in Louisville who could help me change up my style and understand me the way my previous stylist in Lex did. After 3 failed attempts with different stylists across the city, I finally found Audrey’s page on the salon’s website and knew she’d be the one. And I’m SO glad I found The Refinery Hair Lounge! Audrey was so quick to hone in on a style that would actually work for me. I really wasn’t sure about bangs or how to change up my cut after some not so great experiences in the past, but she took the time to listen, chat with me about my habits and lifestyle, and matched me with the perfect cut. Then she went above and beyond showing me how to style it, recommended tools and how to use the tools, what brushes I should get, and basically how to recreate the look at home. It made me SO glad I chose her. She’s clearly an educator and I’m genuinely grateful for that! I’m 3 weeks into my new style, have already been back for a bang trim, and there is absolutely no doubt this is my place now! Huge thanks to the whole team for being so quick, efficient, and friendly. The salon itself is beautiful, too. I would absolutely recommend Audrey and The Refinery Hair Lounge!

I can’t recommend Audrey enough! From the moment I walked in, she was so kind & welcoming. Not only did she do an amazing job with my hair, but she also helped me feel confident in myself again. It’s clear she truly cares about her clients and takes pride in her work!! If you’re looking for someone who is incredibly talented and makes you feel your absolute best, she’s definitely the one to see!

I had the absolute best experience ever! 🥰😍 I went to Melissa Scott for a custom, cut, layers, bangs, and custom color! She gave me the best consultation before hand and made me feel so comfortable the whole time! She pays such great attention to detail! I have crazy thick dry curly hair that tangles extremely easy.. She took her time, detangled my curls, and even styled my curly hair for me at the end! THIS IS THE BEST MY CURLS AND HAIR COLOR HAS EVER LOOKED😍😍 i feel brand new! if i could give her a million more good reviews i absolutely would! 10/10 recommend 🥰

I am seriously obsessed with my Medusa weft extensions. They are so lightweight that I forget I even have them in, which is huge because I have fine hair and was always worried about extensions feeling heavy or damaging. They blend so naturally and give me the fullness I’ve always wanted without putting stress on my hair. It honestly feels like my real hair, just better. The fact that they are non damaging makes it even better because I can actually enjoy the look without worrying about breakage. Audrey is amazing and I would recommend her to anyone thinking about getting these wefts. She works so fast but still pays attention to every detail, and you can tell she really knows how to work with fine hair. The whole appointment was easy and comfortable, and the results are so good. If you are considering Medusa wefts, I definitely recommend going to Audrey. She makes the whole experience worth it. Go see her!!!! She rocks as a stylist and listens to every request you have. She is extremely talented.

What a wonderful experience I had at The Refinery today!! I love the relaxing, impressive atmosphere there.. I was so happy to find Audrey!! She embodies all a client would want in a terrific hair stylist because she listens and works with you on developing a color and style that is suited for you. She is friendly, gracious and a pleasure to work with in developing your personal style. I highly recommend the Refinery to all those who really want to look their best.
